The R5 Changed Our Lives!

My partner, Eva, and I met on the R5 Lansdale line in 1992. I was working in Ambler, she in Fort Washington, and we were part of a rowdy group of reverse commuters who rode the train together every day. One day we got to talking about music, and Eva told me she'd made a 90-minute mixtape--of the U2 song "Lemon" over and over again! The idea cracked me up, and I decided I had to get to know this crazy girl better. 20 wonderful years later, we're still together. Thanks, SEPTA!
